How it all started
Something about that white sign at the bottom of the dead end street sparked a vague suspicion. A couple of phone calls and a trip down to the see the plans at the building department made the whole thing seem overwhleming. The system was monolithic and intimidating. It didn't make any sense. The developers had dump truck loads of money and an army of professions. What was one person supposed to do? Nevermind.
Athen there were two
It was only a slip of paper; a letter from brand new neighbors tucked under the front door. They hadn't even moved in yet - just signed the papers.
"We have to do something!"
